Callback Services
Callback Services |
(Internet search: Callback Service) |
How it Works:You call a pre-programmed U.S.
"trigger" number, wait for the computer to answer, then hang up and wait for a return call to your phone. Once the
return call comes through, you can place a call as if it were originating from the U.S. |
Pros |
Cons |
Takes advantage of lower U.S. call rates. | You must know the proper trigger number to call to activate the service. |
Normally no monthly minimum or setup fees - entirely usage based. |
Must use a land-line phone or have a local SIM card for the country you are visiting. |
