ACADEMIC INFORMATION
ADVISORS
Even though you are ultimately responsible for your academic decisions and actions, you have been assigned a professional or faculty advisor who will assist you along the way. An advisor is a valuable resource for students; see your advisor often so you can develop a good relationship and so that you can make sure you are on track for graduation in your major. Advisors also can provide career information and graduate school recommendations. Plan to see your advisor prior to registering each semester.
UDSIS SYSTEM ACCESS
Even though you will meet with your advisor throughout your undergraduate career at the University of Delaware, the UDSIS Personal Access System also can provide important assistance for managing many aspects of your university life. UDSIS can provide important information and help you accomplish such things as:
- View and change your biographical information
- Advance register for courses
- Check your current schedule
- Drop and add courses (with the advise of an advisor)
- Check your grades
- Request changes or additions of a major or minors
- Check your financial account
- Submit housing requests and review assignments
- View your Academic Progress Report
This tool to analyze your academic progress shows all the requirements for your degree. The report shows requirements remaining, how each of your completed courses is being counted in your degree and which courses are not being used at all. This report is personalized just for you! If you need help understanding your report or think that something needs to be adjusted, please contact your advisor or the Assistant Dean as soon as possible.
