This policy is part of the 2008-2009 Academic Year Student Housing Agreement.

Room Inspections

University officials, the Fire Marshal and other officials periodically make unannounced inspections to ensure compliance with health, fire, safety and maintenance codes. They are obligated to report evidence of non-compliance observed during such inspections. Similarly, while maintenance and custodial personnel will not search your personal property, the performance of their duties may require them to move items of personal property in your room. They are obligated to report any observed evidence of unlawful conduct or conditions.
