South Central Campus

South Central Campus, located on the Green, is comprised of the Cannon, Kent, New Castle, Smyth, Squire, Sussex, and Warner residence halls. Living on South Central offers students easy access to the Perkins Student Center, Harrington Fitness Center, and continuous dining at Kent Dining Hall. In addition, South Central residence halls are the closest to the Morris Library, and are only a five-minute walk from classes.

Cannon is coed by room, Smyth is coed by wing, and New Castle, Sussex, and Squire are coed by floor. Warner Hall, home to the Women's Interest Community, is an all-female building.

In addition to the Women's Interest Community, South Central offers several other Unique Housing Options. Upperclass Honors floors are available in Cannon and New Castle, large rooms and suites are available in all buildings except Squire and Kent, and Squire is a substance-free building. A "Return Request" option is also available for students wishing to stay in their building for the following year.

Room sizes vary, but off-white walls, tile or hardwood floors, window blinds, and UD furniture come standard with each room.

Currently, Cannon, Kent, New Castle, Squire, Sussex and Warner are upperclass buildings, while Smyth will house freshmen and transfer students.

Squire and Sussex residents have access to both Squire and Sussex residence halls at all times. Cannon and New Castle residents have access to both Cannon and New Castle residence halls at all times.
