    Agreement

In accordance with the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the University must certify that landlords who list their rooms, houses, and apartments to rent or share with the University do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, or national origin. Compliance with Title VI requires that if an institution provides services to assist students in finding off-campus housing or employment, it must ensure that any housing or employment list for its students is available without discrimination. In compliance with Title VI regulation, we require that each landlord advertising through this office agrees to abide by the statement below:

The lodging which I am offering to rent or share is available to any student or University staff member without regard to race, color, creed, or national origin. In addition, the lodging that I am offering to rent or share is available to any student or University staff member without regard to sexual orientation.

In addition, by placing an advertisement with our office, you are confirming that you are aware of and agree to abide by the codes and laws governing landlord-tenant agreements and fair housing in the state and locality where you own and operate rental units. If we are notified by state or local agencies that you are in violation of rental codes or laws, we will remove your advertisement from our website and you will not be permitted to advertise any of your properties on our site again. A prorated portion of your advertising fee will be returned to you if the removal of your advertisement is prior to the end of a cycle.

The University of Delaware reserves the right to reject any ads that contain inappropriate language or links, or those that are discriminatory.

If you do not agree with these statements, you will not be permitted to proceed with the advertisement submission process.
