Electronic Check-In

Electronic Check-InThe week before you arrive on campus, you will receive an email with a link to the electronic check-in form. The form will ask you to electronically sign the Student Housing Agreement and indicate an estimated arrival time. Students living within three hours of the University are asked to arrive in the morning and all others arrive in the afternoon. Please try to arrive within 2 hours of your selected time so we may determine busy check-in periods and assign an appropriate number of staff.

On Move-In Day, you will need to present your student ID card (pack your ID in a place that is easily accessible) to a Residence Life staff member at the check-in table.

Late Check-In

If you cannot move in by February 4, please call (302) 831-3676 or contact us online. If you do not notify Housing Assignment Services about a late arrival, you may lose your room assignment.

Please note: The University reserves the right to tow any vehicle in violation of parking regulations.

Residence Hall Parking Regulations

  • Vehicles are permitted to park in driveways adjacent to residence halls for up to 30 minutes at the beginning and end of each semester, when students move in and out of the residence halls.
  • Vehicles are not permitted to park in fire lanes.
  • Each vehicle must be attended by a person who can move it immediately in the event of an emergency; any unattended vehicle will be towed at the owner's expense.
