2012-2013 Move-In Guide


Packing List

To avoid bringing duplicate items to campus, students are encouraged to contact their roommates prior to Move-In Day (if possible). Please review our sample packing list, as well as our list of items to leave at home in order to be fully prepared for Move-In Day.

Provided Items

  • Extra-long twin bed and mattress
  • Desk and chair
  • Small trash can
  • Dresser, wardrobe, or closet
  • Mirror (full length or over the dresser or wardrobe)
  • All utilities included (high-speed Internet, University Ethernet connection, cable TV, single stream recycling)
  • Instant Facilities Fix It Service for repairs and maintenance

  • Cold drinks (water will also be available throughout campus)

  • Toolbox to assemble miscellaneous items (see guidelines for hanging decorations on residence hall room walls)
