Spring 2013 Move-In Guide

We’re excited for you to move into the residence halls and plunge into campus life at the University of Delaware! Whether you have questions about Move-In Day, living in the residence halls, or how to get involved with campus life, we hope to guide you through the process with the information below.

MOVE-IN DATES AND TIMES

I was here for WINTER.

• I am staying in my room.
  Check in using Electronic Check-In. No need to sign in with your RA.

• I was approved for a room change.
  Check in using Electronic Check-In. After receiving your new assignment, contact your RHC to arrange a time to move.

 

I was not here for WINTER.
If you have not received your assignment by Thursday, January 24, please contact Housing Assignment Services by February 3.

Whether you live in a residence hall or Christiana Towers, check in using Electronic Check-In BEFORE you arrie on campus. Move in on:

• February 3 - 2:00 - 9:00 p.m.
• February 4 - 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

 

Early/Late Check-In

• There is no early check-in available for the Spring semester. If you need to make arrangements to check in earlier than 2:00 PM on Sunday, Feb. 3, please contact your Hall Director or Residence Hall Coordinator.
• Please make arrangements with Residence Hall Coordinator/Hall Director if you will not be able to move in by February 4 at 3:00 p.m.

 

Help keep traffic moving on Move-In Day!

Make move in quick and efficient:

• Bring a handcart to carry multiple boxes at once.
• Pack your vehicle so you can unload easily. University Police and staff will be able to direct you to the nearest parking location.
• Building locations, addresses, and driving directions can be found on UD's interactive campus map.
