University Billing for Housing Costs

Your Fall University Semester bill is due August 1. New student assignments are not confirmed by that time. Therefore, housing costs are estimated at the rate for a multiple room in a traditional hall for freshmen, or for a Christiana Towers two-bedroom apartment for transfer students.

If you are assigned to a space with a higher room rate, after having paid the estimated rate*, please submit the cost difference to the Cashiers Office before the September 1 to avoid a penalty fee.

You are required to pay the full amount for the space you are assigned whether or not it is the type of space you requested.
