Panhellenic Council

The NPC council, located in 218 Trabant, serves as the governing body for the University of Delaware's National Panhellenic Conference sororities. Member delegates serve as role models, dedicated to uphold good scholarship and high standards of ethical conduct, while promoting friendship, harmony, and unity among members, chapters, faculty,, administration and campus groups.

Sorority 101
Want to learn more about recruitment? Have questions about life as a new sister of a Panhellenic sorority? Come to Sorority 101 on December 3 from 7:30-8:30 p.m. in Trabant MPR. This event will highlight what recruitment is actually like, and what to expect as a member of a sorority. This event is not mandatory, but we highly encourage interested potential new members to attend.

Formal Recruitment 2016
February 12-14 and February 19-23, 2016
Registration will open on December 11 and close on February 8 at 11:59 p.m..
The registration fee will be $90 and is non-refundable. The fee covers costs related to facility rental, buses, t-shirt (worn by PNM during recruitment), refreshments, and supplies.

To be eligible to participate in Formal Recruitment, a woman must have a 2.5 cumulative college GPA and earned 12 credit hours (no exceptions are made for either requirement). Winter Session grades will not be included in the cumulative GPA. This policy is supported by the Office of the Dean of Students and the Division of Student Life.

Transfer students: If you do not have a UD GPA, transcripts must be submitted from your previous institution showing a 2.5 cumulative GPA and at least 12 earned credit hours. Transcripts should be mailed to: Amne Harrington, 228 Trabant University Center, Newark, DE 19716.

Chapter Recruitment Officers
If you extend a bid for membership to a woman and she accepts, she must complete the NPC Continuous Open Bidding Membership Acceptance Binding Agreement and Grade Release found on the USC Forms Page. It must be turned in to the Panhellenic Recruitment Chair's mailbox in 218 Trabant within one (1) business day of being signed. Please contact or with questions.
