Sigma Phi Epsilon is the nation's largest fraternity; it is also the largest fraternity at the University of Delaware. SigEp maintains one of the highest cumulative GPA on campus. We were also the highest rated fraternity in terms of the Chapter Assessment Program. We accomplish all of this together because our fraternity does not pledge.

SigEp is based on the motto of "Sound Mind, Sound Body". We recruit only the best brothers in terms of both academics and athletics and strive to develop both aspects throughout your years with us. The concept of a healthy body and an active mind filters through our chapter daily. We also offer an award winning Leadership Continuum that offers a dynamic range of opportunities for you to grow and develop as a leader. From camps that help introduce the values of the fraternity to its newest members to an organized trip to Greece, SigEp provides the best experience. Finally, with our alumni network database we can put you in contact with our 125,000 living alumni, more than any other fraternity in the country, once you begin the job hunt.

Academics aside, SigEp also has a great social brotherhood. Activities that we've held during the past years include date parties and mixers in Wilmington, Philadelphia and Maryland, formals in Ocean City, MD, as well as amazing Greek Week and Homecoming parties. We have also ventured as a brotherhood for weekend trips to the Poconos for paintballing and a day of ropes courses and teambuilding in Maryland. We also have our annual Brotherhood Olympics. In the past, SigEp has compiled first and second Place finishes in Greek Week. We've also won the Airband and placed second twice. SigEp also participates in almost every intramural sport, as well as taking part in an annual charity football game in the fall against another fraternity.

When new members join SigEp, they are immediately given all the rights and privileges of any other brother in the fraternity. They do, however, have to go through a new member process which allows them to learn more about the fraternity both nationally and locally. While going through this process, they form a strong bond with the new member class, as well as the rest of the fraternity as a whole.

We would love the opportunity to get to meet with you and see if you would fit into our model of the "Balanced Fraternity." If improving your mind and body while in college and having fun at the same time is something that interests you, we look forward to seeing you at rush!
