Founded on November 26, 1913 in New York City, Phi Sigma Sigma is group of dynamic, principled, passionately committed women from around the world who define ourselves not by our distinct differences, but by what we have in common. And that common bond is a firm belief that women of different religions, cultures, backgrounds and viewpoints working together can and do make a difference in our communities, and in the world, every day.

Phi Sigma Sigma has chosen the Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation as its international philanthropy. More specifically, the Foundation funds leadership development, scholarships and educational grants for our members, as well as those with kidney disease through the National Kidney Foundation. On campus, our new members will be given the opportunity to choose an additional local philanthropy to support, and will envision and create new philanthropy events to raise money for each of these causes.

Phi Sigma Sigma celebrated its first Bid Day on March 10, 2013, and initiated its founding members on May 4, 2013. Phi Sigma Sigma is so excited to have a presence on campus again and to be integrated into the Greek community.
