Founded on November 26, 1913 in New York City, Phi Sigma Sigma is group of dynamic, principled, passionately committed women from around the world who define ourselves not by our distinct differences, but by what we have in common. And that common bond is a firm belief that women of different religions, cultures, backgrounds and viewpoints working together can and do make a difference in our communities, and in the world, every day.

Phi Sigma Sigma has chosen the Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation as its international philanthropy aid to the lives of our members. Specifically, it is committed to supporting the Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation through financial contributions. Key programming enables the Foundation to positively impact leadership achievement, scholarships/educational grants and helping students success in their education with our new endeavor: School and college readiness.

Delta Eta's local philanthropy is the Kids Runway for Research foundation. The mission of Kids Runway for Research is to raise awareness and support for the Nemours Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders while providing childhood cancer survivors the opportunity to "shine", through an annual fashion show fundraiser.

Phi Sigma Sigma celebrated its first Bid Day on March 10, 2013, and initiated its founding members on May 4, 2013. Phi Sigma Sigma is so excited to have a presence on campus again and to be integrated into the Greek community.
