Friends.  A simple word isn't it? It's uttered every day to almost every person imaginable. Who are your friends? We used to think that friends were the people that you could laugh with and talk to. Now we know that friends aren't that, they're the people who touch your heart. Before joining ALPHA PHI, we thought friendship was simple. Yet, as we began to learn more about Alpha Phi, our notion of friendship grew into something different. Alpha Phi not only encompasses friendship, but also a strong dedication to the principles that we were founded upon in 1972: sisterhood, social involvement in campus activities, and service in the community. Sure, these are just a bunch of words sororities use to define who and what they are, but in Alpha Phi, they are more than just words.
