Tuition Charges and Financial Aid

Tuition charges vary depending on whether one is a Delaware resident or a resident of another state or country. Tuition is determined by the State, but is typically a few percentage points above the previous year's costs. For current Tuition rates, room and board and student fees visit: University of Delaware Billing & Collection web site.

For a definition of Delaware residency click here or refer to the pamphlet, "Regulations Governing the Classification of Students at the University of Delaware," which is available by contacting the Student Services Building at (302) 831-8991. To be reviewed for and/or claim Delaware residency, applicants must complete the "Statement of Residence" portion of this application.

U.S. citizens may apply for Perkins Loans, College Work Study, and Stafford Loans. You must file a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) no later than March 15 (February 1st is preferred) with the Financial Aid Office (302-831-8761).
