The competitive International Travel Award Program provides assistance to full-time faculty up to $1000 plus a department contribution of a minimum of $500 per academic year to be used towards international research, participation in conferences outside the United States within the participant's professional field, and other scholarly activities.
Once you've finished reading all of the information provided here, please complete the ITA On-Line Application. Applicants must apply for funding by 4:30 PM on the deadline date prior to travel. Retroactive applications will not be accepted. Please upload the following items onto the online application form provided: (1) the official conference participation notice or, if not participating in a conference, a one-page summary of proposed scholary activities (e.g. research, workshops, etc...), and (2) a recommendation letter from your department chair. Only applications submitted using the online form provided will be considered for approval. Upon completing the first page of the application form, you will be prompted to upload the corresponding documents listed above.
