The Institute for Global Studies (IGS) invites applications from full-time faculty for the International Research Award (IRA) program.
The IRA program is intended to support international research by UD full-time faculty, and to serve as seed money for substantive research undertakings that will lead to applications for larger, externally funded support. Applications that enhance or support new collaborate research activities with UD's partner institutions outside the United States will be strongly considered. The amount of each award will depend on the scope of the project but can be up to a maximum of $10,000 in IRA funds.

CONDITIONS FOR NOTE: When applying, you will need a two page narrative explaining the significance of the project and potential contributions. Proposals must be designed to support research on the complex historical, political, cultural, economic, resource, and security dynamics involved in the relationships of the United States with the larger global community. We recommend that you prepare that portion of the narrative before proceeding, so you can cut and paste it into the online form.
