Hamilton-Kean

Despite the intense military and intelligence effort to corner Osama bin Laden after the 9/11 attacks, the leader of al-Qaeda remains at large, perhaps continuing to coordinate attacks against U.S. interests around the world.

How did he escape? Where is he? What are his motives? Who are his allies? Is al-Qaeda stronger or weaker than it was three years ago?

Journalist Peter Bergen, one of the few Americans who actually met bin Laden before the 9/11 attacks, is just back from another of several trips to Afghanistan and Pakistan, where he updated his information about the global terrorism network.

Congressman Lee Hamilton, Vice Chairman of the bipartisan 9/11 Commission, whose final report is a best-seller following its bi-partisan conclusions over the summer , is in a position to evaluate overall U.S. efforts to respond to and combat terrorism.
