A Message from the President

Welcome to the Office of University Development. Development is the fundraising arm of the University, but it is also the way our alumni and our community engage with the University to share their time, treasure, and talent to help preserve the University’s legacy and ensure that tomorrow’s Blue Hens have the very best educational opportunities we can offer.

Under the expert leadership of the Vice President of University Development & Alumni Realtions, Monica Taylor, we are able to support more students, faculty, and programs than ever before. But we still need your help. Our strategic plan, the Path to Prominence™, consists of bold initiatives to help the University reach new heights as one of the most esteemed institutions of higher education in the country.

In order to succeed in achieving these goals, we need to have the full support of our alumni, our students, our faculty, our friends, and our community. I hope you value the experiences that the University of Delaware has made possible for you, and I hope that you join me in the quest to provide even greater opportunities for the students of today and tomorrow.
