Your commitment and loyalty to UD are highly valued qualities. Alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff, and friends often express commitment by making ongoing, regular, financial contributions to the college or program of choice. Recognition and appreciation of your commitment is returned by your peers and beneficiaries through the Delaware Diamonds Society and 1743 Society.

Your understanding of the value of annual funds is vital. “Annual” funds are ongoing, outright contributions that support current operations and have little to do with a calendar. They are the catalysts for all that is good and growing in our college and university, including:

• scholarships
• faculty salaries
• technology upgrades
• laboratory renovations
• scholarly journals
• conference attendance fees

and so much more - all of the ingredients that keep the lights in the classroom glowing, the heat in the auditorium pumping, and many other essential needs that make the UD experience possible.
