Flash Tutorials and Techniques

Flash comes with several excellent tutorials that teach you how to create timeline interactions, work with layers, import media into the library, synchronize audio, work with video, animate buttons, and create intractions and forms. This lesson shows you how to find these tutorials and set up your Flash window such that you can have the tutorial onscreen while you work through it.

Flash Buttons

Data Keeping

This lesson demonstrates how to store the Flash quiz results in an Access database.

UI Interactions

This lesson illustrates a simple yet powerful method of creating user interface (UI) interactions with Flash.

Database Access

If you want to store the results of the user's Flash interactions in a database, this lesson covers the four-step process of (1) identifying the user whose results you will be saving, (2) sending the user to the Web page in which the Flash interaction is embedded, (3) programming the Flash interaction to post the results to an ASP page, and (4) making the ASP page receive the results and save them in the database.

Sound Sync

This lesson is a work in progress. It steps you through the process of synchronizing Flash events with sound frames.
