FSAP Services

      FSAP provides FREE and CONFIDENTIAL services to all University employees. FSAP has an extensive resource network to make referrals for employees who have issues or concerns they need to address. For example, an employee might be dealing with concerns regarding their child or elderly parent. After an initial assessment, FSAP staff would make the appropriate referral to secure assistance for that employee. FSAP also provides 8 to 10 individual counseling sessions for employees dealing with a range of personal, work, or mental health issues.
      Another service provided to faculty and staff is supervisory and management consultation. Indeed, if a conflict or problem arises with or between employees, FSAP is there to provide assessment and conflict management services. These services include mediation, conflict resolution, facilitated group problem solving, and team building activities.
      FSAP provides staff experiencing drug and alcohol abuse problems an avenue for addressing their concerns. Further, FSAP coordinates drug and alcohol testing and training for CDL drivers. Relapse prevention support groups are offered to employees.
      Finally, FSAP has a Lending Library that offers employees an opportunity to check out books and reference materials on many of the above issues. Please click on the links above for further information.
