Scanning from Paint Shop Pro 6

To scan an image:

1. Open Development Tools folder icon on the desktop.
2. Open Paint Shop Pro 6.
3. Place your image in the HP ScanJet 7400C, face down in the top right corner of the scanner.
4. In Paint Shop Pro, click File, then select Import, then Twain, then Acquire.
5. You will hear the scanner working as it automatically prescans the image. The page will be pre-scanned using HP PrecisionScan. From the prescanned page, select the image that you want to scan by clicking on the image using the mouse.
6. Then go to the Scan menu on the HP PrecisionScan window, and select Return to Paint Shop Pro. The page will then be scanned as a final image and displayed in the main Paint Shop Pro window.

1. Click on File
2. Save As
3. Select drive A:\ or C:\
4. Change file name if desired
5. Save
