Accessing the Latin 100 Programs

1. Go to a computer running Windows 3.1. These computers are located in the Spanish and French clusters.  LATN100 programs CANNOT be accessed on Windows 95.

2. The LATN100 programs are located in the Classics folder. If this folder is not open, double click on it in order to open it.

3. The LATN100 programs are named UDIS.  Double click on the UDIS icon to run the program.

4. You will see a black screen with white words: UDIS, University of Delaware Instructional Software. Press ENTER to begin.

5. You will see a blue screen with white words: Welcome to the Foreign Language Media Center. Press ENTER to begin, or F2  if you have changed your mind and want to exit.

6. You will be asked to enter your User ID.  Type in your social security number, without dashes or spaces. Press ENTER.

7. You will see a screen that lists your  User ID, name, and the Latin 100 course information.  Press ENTER to continue.

8. The first time you go into the LATN100 lessons, you will be asked to enter a password. REMEMBER THAT PASSWORD!  You will be asked for it every time you enter the program.

9. Follow the directions to work through the programs.
