Option III - Period Studies

The Period Studies option is for students who have a particular interest in a specific historical period (e.g. Middle Ages, Renaissance, Twentieth Century, etc.). The Period Studies option allows students to take several extra-departmental courses in one historical period.

Option IV - Area Studies

For the French Studies Major, the area is France. Students interested in France as well as in French may wish to select this option. The Area Studies option allows students to take several extra-departmental courses which focus on France.
