Penalties: According to school policy, after 3 late arrivals to class, a school detention is earned. However, each teacher is reaponsible for setting his own policy concerning all late arrivals before 6.
My policy is as follows: For each of your first 6 unexcused late arrivals to class you will receive a 30 minute detention with me. If you don't like detention... DON'T BE LATE!!!.

Absentee Policy: It is YOUR responsibility to make up any work missed due to absence from class.
You must turn in any work that was due on the day of your absence on the day you return.
You must turn in any work given on the day of your absence within 3 days of your return to classes.

Text: Since you will not be receiving a textbook for this class, it is extremely important that you keep all papers you receive in class in a folder exclusively for Spanish class. This will serve as your textbook!

exclusive use of this class.
2. Get a good Spanish/English dictionary.
3. Take notes every day.
4. Do your homework. I do NOT
accept late assignments. If I give
an assignment I WILL check it. You
can expect 4 to 5 assignments per
week.
5. Participate in class
discussions and activities on a daily
basis. You will receive a grade
that reflects the QUALITY
and quantity of your class
participation.
6. Speak Spanish as often as possible!
7. Study and practice your Spanish at every opportunity.

Information Relevant to Specific Courses at BHS:
This course is described in the course catalog as "Spanish III, Advanced." The work we do in the class is more intense than what you may have done in past Spanish courses. Be prepared to work and study intensely.
We will continue building a strong base of knowledge of the Spanish language.
We will be practicing the
communicative abilities of listening,
speaking, reading, and writing.
