This project is designed to immerse students at the intermediate level of French language in the francophone world through the specific perspective of Azouz Begag’s novel Le Gone du Chaâba. It can be seen as an integration for a more traditional class or as an independent project.
The length of the project will be approximately 3-5 days.
Students will be able to: acquire (cultural) information, analyze and process it, expand vocabulary, examine cultural and social issues and give a presentation.
Activities will be both on-line and on paper.
Assignments and assessment could be added as desired by instructor
