a topic, create a dialogue and tape record it.

*You must also turn in one copy of the written
dialogue.

-
The dialogue should be 5–8 minutes in length,
so you should use what you have worked on in class as a base, and expand
on it.
-
Use only a standard cassette tape unless you
have asked your instructor for special permission to turn in a CD
or mini cassette.
-
At the beginning of the tape, before you begin
the role-play, each student should state his/her first and last names and
the title of the role play.
-
When you have finished, please listen to
your tape to be sure that the conversation has been recorded and that it
is loud enough for your instructor to hear.
-
Label your cassette with your first and last
names and your class section. Rewind your tape to the beginning.
-
You may practice and record the role-play
as many times as you like until the due date, when you submit your taped
role-play for a grade.
-
You will be graded individually based on the
following categories:
-
Content and Vocabulary 25%
-
Grammatical Accuracy 25%
-
Pronunciation and Intonation 50%
(Be sure to write your partner's
name and phone number on this sheet)
