In order to be successful in a foreign language class, it is essential that you study and complete homework assignments every night.  You must always attend class prepared, and participate during all class activities.  Your Instructors will evaluate you five times during the semester.  This evaluation includes:

how often you volunteer and contribute to the class in a positive way

if you always attempt to speak Spanish

how productive you are during group / partner assignments

how many homework assignments you complete during the marking period

Your Instructors will distribute evaluation forms and allow you to self assess on the following dates:  (*NOTE:  the SPAN107 PLUS sections have different dates for these grades.  Please consult WebCT, or check with your Professor, for these dates.)

Grade #1, MWF Instructor = 30 Sept

Grade #1, TR Instructor = 18 Oct

Grade #2, MWF Instructor = 04 Nov

Grade #2, TR Instructor = 06 Dec

Grade #3, MWF Instructor = 07 Dec

Your Instructor will consider your input but reserves the right to change a grade if necessary.
