Pat Ferich (9/05): I was so excited today! I called a parent who spoke only a little English. She asked if I spoke Spanish, and I told her a little and that I was learning. I was able to tell her that her son was in my English class and got a 22 on his vocabulary test and that he needs to study for English class. This class is doing what I hoped it would help me to do! Thanks so much!!! My principal was excited too when I told her how these classes helped me today. (Pat is third from the right, below.)
