Either a catchy or very descriptive title:Only capitalize first letter

When appropriate, start with an “engancho,” or attention grabbing sentence. Then, introduce your theme in its most general terms. With each sentence get more and more specific.Your narrow topic should one about which you know a lot. Indicate both your purpose and who is your audience by the tone and vocabulary that you choose. If you are arguing a point, acknowledge the opposing viewpoints throughout your paper so your reader will have faith in you as a credible voice. The last sentence here should be your thesis statement which should be long and descriptive and prepare your reader for the order of the paragraphs to follow:A, B and C.

This paragraph should address point A and should begin with a topic sentence.Follow with evidence to support your claims arranged in a meaningful way.Ideas should flow fluidly one to the next.Use the transition words found in Appendix D of your Guía para escritores. Avoid basic vocabulary like bueno, malo, grande, interesante, importante, muy, gente, personas and cosas, and do not repeat information. All new information introduced should contribute to your goal. Conclude your paragraph by supporting and clarifying your main point and in a way that transitions smoothly into your next supporting paragraph.

This paragraph should address point B.Follow the above advice for point A.When formatting your composition, use one inch margins, size 12 font in Times New Roman. This document is formatted as yours should be.Remember to track changes on Versions B by bolding and underlining changes.Include two spaces after each sentence, and do not insert a line of space between paragraphs.

This paragraph should address point C.Again, follow same advice as for point A, and be sure to conclude your paragraph in a way that supports and clarifies your main point and in a way that transitions smoothly into your conclusion.Feel free to print on both sides to save paper.STAPLE your composition materials together in the following order:1.) Version B (when applicable), 2.) Grade Sheet printed from http://www.udel.edu/fllt/faculty/staceym/rubric.html3.) Version A and 4.) Outline, which can be handwritten.

The conclusion can be difficult to write because you are expected to do more than summarize and reiterate. When possible, offer a suggestion for future investigation, an intriguing implication for consideration, or raise deeper questions that merit attention.Edit your composition by looking for repetition of the same ideas, agreement errors, opportunities to replace basic vocabulary with more precise vocabulary, ways to combine more sentences and insert transition words and of course, by checking for spelling errors and typos. If you consult any outside sources, cite them and include an informal bibliography.Other stylistic and organizational possibilities exist, but this basic format is widely accepted and an appropriate choice for students at your level.
