2. Negative Time Duration

I have not eaten Chinese food for two months.

I have not worked out for  a year and half.

3. “被”: note that “被” is not the same as English Passive Voice

a. The book that you borrowed was taken away by your girlfriend

b. The TV was broken ( by someone).

4． 起来  and 下去:

She couldn’t continue to speak and started to cry.

11. The static continuous verb marker “着”

        She often listens to music with her room door open.

        He said with a smile: “ you are welcome”.

12. Three Existential Sentences:
