Kabáh
In front of the Codz-Pop, January 1995
The maya city of Kabáh was built between A.D. 850-900.

The Codz-Pop, with its facade made up of 250 masks of the rain god, Chac, is the most impressive of its buildings.  You will soon recognize this ubiquitous mask, a reminder to us of the importance of rain, its lack in Yucatán, and our good fortune!
