While at Arenal, we will hike to the beautiful and
impressive La Fortuna waterfall. We will have to climb 600 meters
down a ravine to get to the area of the pool of water. The water
is crystal clear and ice-cold, quite a change from the hot spring water
of the Arenal volcano. The force of the waterfall pushes swimmers
away, and creates a large area of spray. Cameras need to be kept
under wraps.
