Among the many talleres (workshops) that we can visit in Oaxaca is the Alfarería Doña Rosa. We will see a demonstration of how the jars are made at the same time that we are told how the shiny black jars were first created and how they have saved the business. Doña Rosa can be seen in the picture that is farthest to the left on the wall. Make sure you bring some money because you will want to buy some of their beautiful creations--from jars to napkin holders, to statues and all sorts of kitchen and table wares.
