Chinese offers undergraduate major programs in the Chinese language, including an Honors Degree option.
In addition, interdepartmental majors are possible, and a Chinese minor is also available.

Why study Chinese?

    the US every year.
  • To be able to communicate in a language used by more than one fifth of the population on the earth, one that is also among the five official working languages of the United Nations.

  • To pursue a career in government/diplomatic affairs, international
    trading and commerce, law and higher education, etc.
