Class Descriptions
Boot Camp: Front and center! High energy, intense cardio training guaranteed to boost your energy and metabolism to new heights. Easy to follow step moves, plyometrics, BOSU, jump rope, running drills, abdominal work, and push-ups. Drop and give it your all!
Butts and Guts: Strengthen, tone, and condition your "backside," legs, and core! This class targets the gluteal muscles, hamstrings, quadriceps, and inner/outer thighs. This class also uses safe abdominal and lower back exercises to improve alignment, posture, tone, and strengthen your core.
Cardio Muscle: This
intense cardio and strength-training workout will get your blood pumping and your body toned using steps, hand weights, stability balls, and more. A must for any fitness program!
Challenge: Try UD's weekly class challenge! This class will be a surprise every time. Be prepared for a fun change of pace with a new class format every week. It can vary from kickboxing, to a body bar blast, to salsa dancing! All fitness levels welcome!
Conditioning: This weight training workout focuses on challenging the body as a whole. Total body strength training with dumbbells, resistance bands, and body weight movements to really give you a pump! A great way to get your body toned and in top condition.
FREE ABS : FREE 30-minute class focusing on abdominal and core strengthening exercises. First come, first serve. Spots are limited!
Hatha Yoga: A type of yoga intended to heal and relax the body and mind. Hatha yoga focuses on proper breathing, relaxation techniques, and asanas that strengthen and encourage the body to open up. Practiced regularly, these asanas keep the body youthful and low in stress so that we can function happily and efficiently in daily life. For all fitness levels.
Kickboxing: An intense aerobic workout for all fitness levels that incorporates boxing, kickboxing, and martial art skills/drills performed to music. This class develops cardiovascular fitness, agility, strength, and power. Sure to be a knockout!

Pilates: This class is based on the principles of core strength and stabilization as created by Joseph Pilates. This exercise system focuses on improving flexibility and strength for the total body through controlled movements engaging your body and mind, promoting physical harmony and balance for people of all ages and fitness levels. Give it a try.
Power Yoga: This isn't your ordinary yoga class! Featuring a total body work out, Power Yoga is designed to challenge and improve your inner strength, flexibility, and overall sense of well-being. Marrying the art of movement and breath, this class takes yoga to the next level as you will flow through each pose, challenging both your mind and body. No experience required- all levels welcome!
Step & Abs: 45 minutes of a basic step routine and 15 minutes of abs. Get your cardio and abs in one workout!
UD Spin: A great option
for anyone looking to cross-train! This group workout takes indoor cycling
to the next level, with hill climbs, interval races, and much more-all
set to music to keep that motivation high. You choose your own resistance
level so all age groups and fitness levels are easily accommodated.

Weight Training for Women:
This course will introduce the basic concepts of weight training for
individuals with limited experience. This class is progressive so individuals
who are already versed in resistance training can still count on a good
workout! Appropriate for all fitness levels. *THIS CLASS REQUIRES SPECIFIC
REGISTRATION IN PERSON PRIOR TO THE START OF CLASS, NOT INCLUDED WITH
THE GENERAL FITNESS PASSES.
Yoga: Improve your overall strength and flexibility while also learning relaxation and breathing techniques to reduce stress. Great for all fitness levels and no experience necessary.
Zumba: The new heat wave in aerobic exercise that's defined as being "Latin dance aerobics with an international flair." If you're looking for a high energy workout with motivating music, this class is for you! |
