MBA Online Program General SFS Information

The MBA online program is under a different academic calendar and, therefore, does not fall into the traditional billing and payment structure of the University.

We ask all students enrolled in this program to ensure they make appropriate arrangements to pay their costs by the start of each term. Due to the short timeframe between terms, SFS will send weekly e-mail reminders to students enrolled in this program when a balance is reflected on their student account.

The following information is provided in the Online Orientation; it is also provided below as a helpful reminder of the options available to students in the program.

 

Note: You have the first 4 days of classes to drop classes with no financial penalty once a term begins. You are responsible for the full costs of that term if you are still enrolled after free/drop add period.

  • You will have access to UDSIS, our UD Student Information System (www.udel.edu/udsis-student), once you have created your udel email. This site provides access to reviewing registration, billing, and financial aid information.
  • Student Financial Services will correspond to your udel email when balances are due and direct you to your ‘My Finances’ link. My Finances is a customized portal where you can review your student account balance, view pending aid, and/or make payment.

 

Student Payment Options

  • Online Check (ACH Payment) - Input your bank account number and bank routing number. Your payment will be directly debited from your account (no fee).
  • Credit Card - VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. CashNet (third party vendor) assesses a 2.75% service charge for processing your credit card payment.
  • Federal Stafford Loans:  You are eligible to borrow Federal Loans in this program. Click the title for additional instructions on how to file. If interested in borrowing now you must submit a FAFSA for the 2013-2014 year for any enrollment starting now through Summer 2014 (July 2014). We will automatically package you with eligible loans once we receive your FAFSA information and verify registration. These loans will be reflected as pending aid on your 'My Finances' view. Eligibility depends on whether you are part-time (3 credits) or full-time (6 credits) per term. Ensure you have completed the Master Promissory Note and Entrance Counseling in order for us to disburse any loans offered.
  • Employer Tuition Benefits: Some employers will issue payment for courses directly to the University. Click the title for additional instructions of what to submit to take advantage of this option. Note that you must make prior arrangements before each new semester/session begins if you have employer benefits. UD Employees: Please contact us for a fee waiver form to process your eligible benefits.
