• Once the FAFSA is filed, you will receive confirmation in the form of a Student Aid Report (SAR).   Pay special attention to this document to make sure it is error-free and has our school code (001431) listed.   We will receive your FAFSA electronically, so there is no need to send us a paper copy (keep that copy for your records!)
  • There is a chance that we may not import your FAFSA automatically, this could be due to:

    • You're extending your time at the University (i.e. you changed your graduation date after you filed the FAFSA.)

    • You applied to the University after you filed the FAFSA with our school code on it.

    • You're a mid-year transfer student, or you applied well after the April 15 th deadline.

  • If any of the above applies to you, a call or e-mail should be made to our office so that we may import your data to our system and give you a financial aid package.

  • After we package you, an award notice is sent out that you must sign and return (one copy is for your records and the other is ours for your main file).
  • Pay special attention to any correspondence the University or the Department of Education sends you.

If you receive any additional scholarship monies from outside sources, please mail or fax the documentation to:
