Corporate Culture

Corporate culture varies among American businesses. The trend in corporate culture is toward a more open culture where communication and the sharing of ideas is encouraged at all levels. There is also a trend toward a less structured organization with fewer levels of management. Today, in many American businesses, the corporate culture encourages everyone to be a manager. Employee attitudes in this type of environment are improving. Some businesses also allow casual dress. One of the largest companies in Delaware is MBNA. Their corporate culture is distinct and based on open communication and a strong sense of company loyalty and pride. This type of culture is working well for them in the credit card industry.
