Clubs for Students

Synergy Club
The Synergy Club sponsors an annual fashion show of student designs each May. Synergy members are responsible for all of the elements of producing a fashion show: Advanced apparel design students are eligible to submit garments for inclusion in the show. Highlights of the show include the Senior Apparel Collections and the Blank Canvas Competition.

Fashion Merchandising Club
The Fashion Merchandising Club hosts guest speakers from industry, organizes field trips to various industry sites, and other activities with the goal of increasing students’ knowledge about careers and to promote networking within the fashion industry.

The Garment District
The Garment District is a club that focuses on artist expression bringing fashion and art together. Each month the club has a different focus in the art and fashion industry bringing professionals from specific fields to the University, building knowledge of the industry in fields like, menswear, jewelry design, accessory design, interior design, illustration, textiles, bridal and many more.

UDress
Founded in 2006, UDress is a multidisciplinary Fashion-based club with members whose majors are Fashion Merchandising and Apparel Design, English, Journalism, Art, Business, and Communications. The club publishes the UDress Magazine and offers students opportunities in fashion reporting, photography, and magazine layout and publication.
