Add HESC317 Strength and Conditioning Laboratory (1 cr. Hr.)

Add HESC155 Personal Health Management (3 cr. Hr)

(Be aware that approval of the curriculum is dependent upon these courses successfully passing through the Course Challenge list. If there are no new courses enter “None”)

HESC317, Strength and Conditioning Laboratory (1 cr. Hr.)

Other affected units:

(List other departments affected by this new or revised curriculum.  Attach permission from the affected units.  If no other unit is affected, enter “None”)

none

Rationale:

(Explain your reasons for creating, revising, or deleting the curriculum or program.)

HESC317 laboratory has been added as the proposed co-requisite to HESC320, which is already required.

HESC214 is being replaced by HESC155. The course contents are very similar, but HESC155 has been approved as a FYE course.

CSCC241 is being deleted as a required Humanities and Communications breadth requirement because the times it is offered are not convenient for the ATEP students. Students will select another course meeting this breadth requirement instead.

Program Requirements:

(Show the new or revised curriculum as it should appear in the Course Catalog.  If this is a revision, be sure to indicate the changes being made to the present curriculum.)
