List program changes for curriculum revisions:

Revise Breadth Requirements such that they are more in line with the Breadth Requirements for the other (Biomechanics) concentration within the Exercise Science major. This entails moving BISC208 and CHEM104 from Concentration Requirements to Breadth Requirements and deleting the requirement for 9 additional breadth requirements chosen from any group.

List new courses required for the new or revised curriculum:

(Be aware that approval of the curriculum is dependent upon these courses successfully passing through the Course Challenge list. If there are no new courses enter “None”)

None

Other affected units:

(List other departments affected by this new or revised curriculum.  Attach permission from the affected units.  If no other unit is affected, enter “None”)

None

Rationale:

(Explain your reasons for creating, revising, or deleting the curriculum or program.)

This change makes the requirements for the Exercise Science major more uniform across the two concentrations within the major and eliminates 1 extra credit of Breadth Requirements for the Exercise Physiology concentration.

Program Requirements:

(Show the new or revised curriculum as it should appear in the Course Catalog.  If this is a revision, be sure to indicate the changes being made to the present curriculum.)

(Additions are asterisked.)
