Whereas each year a number of entering students have an interest in careers as figure skating coaches and wish to be academically prepared for such employment, and

Whereas the Department of Health, Nutrition, and Exercise Sciences has existing faculty and courses to support the offering of a minor to package the courses and practicum experiences necessary to provide this preparation, be it therefore

Resolved that a new minor be established in Figure Skating Coaching within the Department of Health, Nutrition, and Exercise Sciences.
