Faculty Senate Resolution

For Reorganization of Programs in the

College of Human Services, Education and Public Policy

 

 

Whereas,

 

faculty in the School of Urban Affairs and Public Policy and the Department of Consumer Studies have voted to approve a plan to move the undergraduate major and minor in Leadership from the Department of Consumer Studies to the School of Urban Affairs and Public Policy, and

 

Whereas,

 

faculty in the Department of Consumer Studies have voted to approve the change in the name of the department to the Department of Fashion and Apparel Studies, and

 

Whereas,

 

the proposal for this reorganization of programs in the College of Human Services, Education and Public Policy is acceptable to the Dean of the College of Human Services, Education and Public Policy and to the Provost, be it therefore

 

Resolved,

 

that the Faculty Senate recommends the proposed reorganization of programs in the College of Human Services, Education and Public Policy, to be effective as of July 1, 2005.
