            This new degree will allow students to receive a Honors Degree in Landscape Horticulture.

            Honors Bachelor of Science:  Landscape Horticulture

 

            Requirements:  The recipient of this degree must complete:

                        1.  All requirements for the Bachelor of Science:  Landscape Horticulture

2.  All the University requirements for the Honors Baccalaureate degree.  Courses                   at the 600 level that are not required for the major will be considered honors                     courses for the degree.

Whereas the establishment of this degree would benefit students in the

                        Department of Plant and Soil Sciences and

 

Whereas the establishment of this degree has been endorsed by the

                        Honors Program and

 

Whereas establishment of such a major does not require the addition of any

                        new courses or library resources, be it therefore

 

Resolved that this degree be established in the Department of Plant and Soil Sciences.
