Dear Steve,

The Honors Program staff has reviewed the proposal for an Honors Degree in Resource Economics, and is strongly in favor of the creation of an Honors Degree in this

major.  The Department of Food and Resource Economics has outlined a clear and comprehensive plan for students to earn the Honors Degree.  We're pleased that the

department is pursuing an Honors Degree for their students, and look forward to working with students in Resource Economics as they seek to earn this enriched

degree.  Please let me know if you desire any additional information.

Sincerely,
