Delaware School Library Media Association

Mini-grant Application

The Delaware School Library Media Association is offering the opportunity for one of its members to receive a $250 mini-grant.

This program is modeled after the Diamond State Reading Association mini-grant program. The purpose of the mini-grant is to provide funds for innovative programs that focus on reading for fun. The goals of the program should be to connect students and books and get students excited about reading.

Completed applications must be received by the DSLMA Executive Board by December 15, 2005. Depending on the amount of funding requested by applicants, the Board may award up to a total of $250. This amount may be given to one applicant in full or divided up among applicants according to project needs. Recipients will be notified and funding will be presented by February 1, 2006. Recipients must agree to share their projects in a session at the spring Delaware Library Association Conference.
