| The weather this month had been exceedingly hot in Russia, Poland, and Germany. I was pretty well exhausted by this time. As a matter of fact, I spent my entire last day in Berlin sleeping in my hotel room. Never before in any of my trips had I ever spent a whole day in a hotel room doing nothing. |
