Billing, Payments, and Tuition
- I have a question about my session bill. – All students who have questions about their bill must visit the ELI Financial Office any afternoon (Monday to Friday) from 2:00pm until 4:30pm. If you have courses or tutoring at that time, you can click here to ask ELI Financial Office staff a question.
Conditional Admissions Program (CAP)
- I have general questions about CAP. – General information about CAP can be found on the CAP Overview page. Click here to ask a specific question about CAP.

- I have a question about the dormitories. – All dormitory questions can be sent to ud-eli@udel.edu.

- I am a new transfer student. Where can I get my I-20? – Transfer student I-20 forms are normally ready during the first two weeks of the session. When your I-20 is ready, you will receive an e-mail from the ELI. If you have questions, please contact Nadia Redman at ud-eli@udel.edu.
- I have a question about my visa status. – Contact Nadia Redman or Laurie Fuhrmann at the ELI Admissions Office at ud-eli@udel.edu. You may also see them during their office hours Monday through Friday from 2:00pm until 4:30pm.
- How can I stay at the ELI for a longer time? – You can use your Intention Form to register for an additional session at the ELI. More information can be found at the Intention Form home page.
- I need help choosing my classes. – See Deb Detzel, ELI Assistant Director.
- I need to make an appointment to see Dr. Stevens. – To make an appointment with Dr. Stevens, ELI Director, please see the ELI Receptionist in the ELI Main Building at 189 West Main St.

Language Partners/Host Families
- How do I sign up for a language partner? – Send an e-mail message to elilanguagepartner@gmail.com.
- How can I get information about the Host Family program? – Send an e-mail message to Nancy Purcell at rtp3@aol.com.
- I need information about an upcoming ELI activity or event. – See the “Get Involved” section of the Current Student Portal . You may also see Deb Detzel.
- I need to sign up for an upcoming ELI activity or event. – Registration for all ELI events is done at the ELI Window inside the ELI library at 189 W. Main Street. Window hours are from Monday to Friday, 2:00pm to 4:30pm.
- I would like to apply for a scholarship. – See the ELI Receptionist in the ELI Main Building.
- I need information about ELI Service Learning. – See Deb Detzel, ELI Assistant Director.
- My student ID card does not work. – Contact the ELI Admissions Office at ud-eli@udel.edu.
- What do I have to do so I can travel or take vacation? – See the Vacation and Travel page. After you have read that page, if you have questions, please see Nadia Redman in the ELI Admissions Office.
- I need to leave the ELI for medical reasons. – See Nadia Redman or Laurie Fuhrmann in the ELI Admissions Office.
Wireless Network or Computer Problems on the UD Campus
- I need a user name/password to log in to the campus wireless network. – Send an e-mail to ud-eli@udel.edu.
- How do I register my laptop to have access to the campus wireless network? – Visit www.udel.edu/network. You will need your UDelNet ID and password.
- I need help with my computer or Internet access on campus. – Contact the IT Help Center (www.udel.edu/help). If you can’t find the answer to your question, then contact the Help Center (telephone number: 302-831-6000) or complete an IT Help Request Form . If your IT problem is serious and you need someone to look at your computer, take your computer to the Technology Solutions Center in the basement of Smith Hall.
