Delaware EFL Teacher Training (DEFT)

Since 1985, the ELI has been a leader in short-term EFL teacher training. The Delaware EFL Teacher Training Institute (DEFT) is an intensive four-week certificate program designed to meet the specific needs of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers, supervisors, or teacher trainers. A program of seminars, workshops, class observations, and practica, offers training in current methods, approaches, and techniques. The United States Department of State and several foreign ministries of education have awarded DEFT grants for training.
